Coronavirus

Thank you for your support in these unprecedented times.

As a consequence of the Government's press release on 18th March 2020 Somerville Nursery School and Somerville Primary School are currently closed until further notice for the vast majority of pupils. Both schools remain open for only a very small number of children. This small group of children are those that require additional support or if their parent works as a key worker.

For those who are key workers of either Somerville Nursery and Primary School we currently provide child care whilst the staffing levels of the school remain able to do so. If you are a key worker you are asked to please email schooloffice@somerville.wirral.sch.uk with the email subject line Key Worker. Letting the school office know in your email message what key worker role you currently have and in what location. Please also let us know your child's surname, year group and timings that you may need care of your child(ren). We will make arrangements to support your family with child care to ensure that you can carry on your essential work to support those in most need in our community.

For those children who have now been asked to remain at home work packs have been provided from your child's class teacher where possible and online learning resources are updated by staff regularly and you are encoruagred to use the Seesaw programme which is updated by the classteacher. .
