Dear Parent and Carer

Welcome to the Year 1 classes page. You will find some useful information below regarding our curriculum plans for the year.

Our Parent information sheets for each term will help you with information for the term ahead.

Just a few key bits of information at the start of the year:

• By now your child should have been given a reading book, please try to read just a few pages a  night  (more if you wish!) as this is essential to help support your child's reading and writing.
• PE - our PE days are Wednesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor), please ensure your child has their kit in with them on these days. 
• Spellings will be tested on Friday and new ones provided so please look out for those. 

Please get in touch with the classteacher if you have any issues, either at the end of the school day or make an apponitment with the school office.
